Fur-equently Asked Questions
Your furkids’ safety and well-being are our highest priorities. Every member of our team is carefully selected, background checked, trained, insured, and supported before caring for clients independently. We follow established care procedures, maintain detailed client instructions, and communicate regularly so you always know how your furkids are doing.
Since 2008, we’ve built our company around one goal: giving pawrents complete peace of mind. Unlike many independent sitters, we operate as a professionally managed team with trained caregivers, established procedures, built-in support, and dependable communication. You’re not relying on one person—you’re supported by an entire team dedicated to your furkids’ care.
Whenever possible, we strive to maintain consistency and assign familiar caregivers. However, because we operate as a team, your furkids also benefit from having additional trained caregivers available when needed. This team approach helps ensure dependable care even when unexpected situations arise.
Life happens, which is why we’ve built our company around a team-based model. If a caregiver becomes unavailable, another trained team member can step in with access to your care instructions, routines, and preferences. This helps ensure your furkids continue receiving the care they need without interruption.
Yes. Many members of our team are experienced administering medications, including pills, topical medications, eye and ear medications, injections, and insulin. We’ll review your pet’s specific needs during your consultation.

We care for much more than dogs and cats. Our experience includes birds, reptiles, amphibians, pocket pets, fish, and many other exotic species. If you have questions about a specific animal, we’d be happy to discuss their care needs.
That’s perfectly okay. Many animals need time to build trust with new caregivers. Our team uses patience, positive interactions, and respect for your pet’s comfort level to build a relationship at their pace. We never force interactions and always prioritize your pet’s emotional well-being.
After every visit, you’ll receive a detailed visit journal that includes updates, photos, and information about how your furkids are doing. Our goal is to help you feel connected and confident while you’re away.
No. While you may not meet every caregiver in advance, every member of our team goes through our hiring, screening, training, and support processes before caring for clients independently. We trust them with our reputation, our clients, and most importantly, your furkids.
Animals don’t always follow the plan, and that’s okay. We’ll make every reasonable effort to complete requested tasks while prioritizing your pet’s safety and emotional well-being. If concerns arise, we’ll communicate with you promptly.
In the event of a medical concern, we’ll contact you immediately. If veterinary care is needed and we cannot reach you in time, we’ll follow the emergency care instructions and authorization limits you have provided in your client profile.
Your furkids’ safety always comes first. We continue providing care whenever it is safe to do so. If weather conditions require modifications to outdoor activities, we’ll provide appropriate indoor enrichment and exercise whenever possible.
We strongly prefer keyless entry options such as lockboxes, garage codes, smart locks, or keypad entry systems. These options provide greater convenience and security for everyone involved.
